Chewy Chocolate Chip Chunk Cookies
Ingredients
- 1cup unsalted butter softened
- ½cup brown sugar packed
- ¾cup Karo® corn syrup
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3-¼cup all-purpose flour
- 1tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½cup milk chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Lightly grease cookie sheets or line cookie sheets with silicone mats.
- In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, and brown sugar together.
- Add in the Karo® Corn Syrup and beat well.
- Beat in the eggs and the vanilla extract.
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, blending well.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and chocolate chunks.
- Chill the cookie dough for 15-20 minutes.
- Once the cookie dough is chilled, roll into 1 inch balls and place cookies 2 inches apart.
- Return unused cookie dough to the refrigerator to keep cold until ready to bake.
- Bake for about 10 minutes. The edges will be golden but the center will be a bit gooey.
- After the cookies have cooled for at least 5 minutes, move to a wire rack for cookies to cool completely.
